In addition to being the patron saint of England, St George is the patron saint of Scouts.

It was therefore fitting that at 8pm on St George’s Day our Scouts put on their uniforms (in some cases over their pyjamas!) and joined their families and neighbours outside their homes to show their appreciation of the NHS, carers and other key workers.

Our Scouts certainly know how to make lots of noise, as can be seen from the array of saucepan lids, pots and pans, drums, tambourine and even a bugle in the following photographs.

Well done Beavers for waking up the whole of Thames Ditton!
