All across the United Kingdom, members of the Scout Association have been taking part in a special challenge, in support of the Big Night In Appeal. All Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers were asked to hike for a minimum of one mile, to register their mileage and make a donation to the appeal. By doing so, they would earn the special Hike to the Moon Badge.
In addition, on Sunday 26th April, all Leaders, Explorers, Scouts, Cubs and Beavers in Esher District were set a challenge by the District team to wear their Scout scarves whilst out taking their daily exercise and to take photographs of themselves, to demonstrate that Scouting in Esher is still going strong.
